Here they are – the three winners of Symbiosis 2025!
Starting with 1 million companies, the Symbiosis process – with extensive analysis and intense discussions – has now led down to three companies that the jury thinks best represent the requirements of responsible and profitable growth. Congratulations to SR Energy, Nivika Fastigheter, and Micropower Group – Sweden’s top responsible growth companies 2025!
The jury’s motivation:
“Through long-term thinking, transparent community engagement and a strong focus on reducing their climate impact across the entire lifecycle, they are not only generating clean energy – they are setting a new standard for how the energy transition can create value for both people and planet.”
About SR Energy:
SR Energy invests in renewable energy to secure a sustainable energy supply. The company designs, builds and manages efficient wind farms for long-term ownership. With an annual production of 2.3 TWh, the company contributes to a sustainable energy supply in southern Sweden where the need for energy is greatest. SR Energy is owned by AMF, Alecta, KLP and Stena Adactum.
The Jury’s motivation:
“By choosing long-term sustainability over short-term gains – from how and where they produce to the materials they build with – they show that real innovation requires both responsibility and courage. With a holistic approach that spans well beyond batteries, Micropower exemplifies how industrial progress can power lasting change.”
About Micropower Group:
Micropower Group is one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of industrial lithium-ion batteries, chargers and DC/DC converters for industrial applications. With our own R&D centers and production, we take battery and charger innovation all the way from the drawing board to the customer.
The Jury’s motivation:
“With a strong local presence, careful material choices and a deep commitment to biodiversity and social inclusion, Nivika shows that sustainable growth is built from the ground up. Their long-term vision and ability to think beyond the expected make them a role model for responsible real estate development.”
About Nivika:
Nivika is a real estate company in Småland with the aim of owning, managing and developing properties in the long term, while creating profitable and sustainable growth in value. Operations are conducted in Jönköping, Värnamo, Växjö and the West Coast, areas with good growth opportunities and stable rental markets. The diversified real estate portfolio amounts to just over SEK 12 billion, with two-thirds of the rental value consisting of commercial properties.
